My son Jamie came to your house on 26th September and had hypnosis to give up smoking; I would just like to update you on his progress.

After the first session he had a very slight craving to smoke (as we told you) but after the second session with you he has had no interest to smoke. He has had no cravings, withdrawal, over eating or any of the psychological effects that one gets from giving up smoking.

He is amazed, as well as his friends and family that he has managed to quit this habbit, as he was quite a heavy smoker at least 20+ a day.

We would both like to Thank you so much as we never imagined that he would be this successfull and we have recommmended you to quite a few people, and will continue to do so.

Since quitting smoking he has concentrated on his sports studies at college and is getting very fit and doesn't get out of breath as much as he did before.

I will contine to update you on his progress, and thanks once again.

Just a little note to say, not only was I not scared during the flights to and from New Zealand, I actually enjoyed the journey - (amazing).

Will be in touch soon re stopping smoking (when all the "Duty Frees" are gone).

Kind regards, Angela F.

Several months after major surgery, I was left with much pain due to adhesions; no consultant was willing to surgically treat this due to a risk of more adhesions forming.

I decided to try Reiki therapy and am grateful that it gave me the emotional comfort I needed after being repeatedly told by consultants that "nothing could be done".

After several sessions the pain subsided. It worked for me!

There are unique individuals and then there's you Paula, someone who is a bit more unique than the rest of us. Thanks for helping me out of a hole.

I have practiced as a Midwife for more than 20 years, and having assisted many women in labour, I am now convinced that hypnotherapy is a very effective coping technique for women during childbirth.

When a woman enters a state of deep relaxation, she loses her sense of fear. She works in harmony with her own body, instead of battling against the contractions. A deeply relaxed woman is able to avoid tensing all her muscles, thus allowing the uterus to open, and to allow the pelvic muscles to relax, effectively making the pelvic area open as much as possible, making more room for the baby to pass through.

As the woman is relaxed and unafraid, her hormones can flow uninhibited, allowing labour to progress more effectively. I have seen the immense difference it can make to a woman when she is no longer afraid, but allows herself to find a peaceful place within herself, and stay completely relaxed throughout each contraction. Sometimes you cannot tell she is having a contraction, because she is so deeply relaxed throughout.

Labour often seems to progress quicker. As the mother is less stressed, this makes the labour less stressful for the partner (and the midwife) too. I thoroughly recommend the use of deep relaxation/hypnotherapy for use during childbirth.
